We are different...all of us. We were made that way...on purpose, by a mighty God who revels in difference! A God who became human to be raised by a poor, single mother; a God who chose a fugitive to emancipate His people in Egypt - or to employ his biggest critic on the road to Damascus to become his biggest fan to the rest of the world; a God who would care for a Samaritan, dine with a tax collector, and dare speak to the Woman at the Well. Our God is a God whose sole interest is in the hearts of his people and, indeed, pointing out and using their differences to build up and unify his Kingdom. We believe that in diversity, there is strength. We seek, with each new day, to serve, respect, and love our neighbors as we love ourselves. We believe that who we are here is but a dim reflection of what we will be like there: brothers and sisters in the family of God standing together...embracing others, reflecting him.
The purpose of the North Cobb Christian School effort to love our neighbor is to reflect the love of Christ throughout the entirety of our growing, diverse community.
With Scripture as our guide, we aim to embrace creativity, celebrate diversity, and deepen our respect for others while assessing curricular and co-curricular programs to reflect the love of God; resulting in a growing community that impacts the world for Christ.
The Multicultural Club at North Cobb Christian School is working to build a flag display to celebrate the heritage of our NCCS Community. We would like to have a flag that represents each student, faculty, and staff member born in another country. Please fill out this Country of Birth survey to help with this project.
