| Student Teacher Ratio Our K4 and K5 classes offer a low student to teacher (teacher and paraprofessional) ratio of 8:1. The Lower School ratio is 12:1. Middle and Upper School classes have a 9:1 ratio. |

| Grading System Grading is numerical. Letter grade equivalents are as follows: |

| Honors classes are weighted an extra half (.5) grade point. Advanced Placement classes are weighted an extra point (1.0). |

| Community Service The best way to be the hands and feet of Christ is to serve others in His name. A minimum of 46 hours of Community Service are required during Upper School for graduation. All students from K4-12th have multiple opportunities throughout the year to serve. |

| Before and After School Care Programs NCCS opens at 7:00 am each morning and offers free childcare until classes begin. Breakfast is also available to purchase. QUEST Club, our after school program is available for students in K4-5th grades until 6:30 pm each day. There is a fee for QUEST Club. |

| Advancement and Support Programs In addition to our Academies, AP, and Honor Classes in the Upper School, NCCS offers the RISE (Research, Investigate, Study, Evaluate) Program for gifted 2nd-5th graders. Advanced Math classes are offered beginning in 5th grade. Our Directed Studies Program provides educational therapy for students with mild learning disabilities. |
