Honors and AP Classes
Honors and AP courses are provided for students who excel in particular subject areas: English, History, Math, Science, Computer Science, and foreign language. Students must qualify academically to take advanced level courses, and have a recommendation from the appropriate department head and guidance counselor.
Current Honors Classes:
Freshman English, World Literature, American Literature, British Literature, Constitutional Law, Government, Comparative Government & Politics, Economics, Modern European History, U.S. History, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy & Physiology, Sociology, Spanish II,III, and IV, and French III.
Current Advanced Placement Classes:
Government, U.S. History, European History, Comparative Government & Politics, Micro and Macro Economics, Computer Science, English 12, and Calculus.
