NASOTA Specialty Artists

The North Atlanta School of the Arts (NASOTA) encompasses the specialty artist program for students in 9th through 12th grade who desire a more rigorous program that will better prepare them for a life in the arts. The NASOTA Specialty Artists program was designed as a training ground for future arts professionals. Students in 9th through 12th grade who successfully pass an audition specifically designed for their proposed arts major will be invited to become a part of the Specialty Artists team. NASOTA Specialty Artist classes are considered part of the NCCS Academy program.

The current major courses of study offered for Specialty Artists are vocal performance, theatre and visual arts, with plans to add an instrumental major in the near future. The audition criterion for each major is included in the materials packet given to students who show interest in the Specialty Artists program.

Prospective full-time students wishing to join NASOTA as a Specialty Artist have to meet all academic requirements for enrollment into North Cobb Christian School, in addition to passing the audition in their arts major.

For more information, please visit the NASOTA page within each discipline, or contact the specific instructor. You may also contact Todd Motter, Director of NASOTA.
