Instrumental Arts
The Instrumental Arts Program is comprised of our Band and Orchestra Programs. Beginning in the fourth grade and continuing all the way through graduation, students are given the wonderful opportunity to be a part of an award-winning program. Medals, trophies, and nominations are great accomplishments, but in the tradition of the Reformation and along with great composers like Bach and Handel, we believe that God alone is worthy of the glory...and we're more than happy to point people to him through any one or all of our ensembles!
There are nine independent performing ensembles at NCCS, four of which are orchestras and five of which are bands - one in Lower School, four in Middle School, two in Upper School and a Pep Band that spans both Middle and Upper Schools. These ensembles perform at various events through out the year such as Grandparent's Day, Fall Festival, Fall Concerts, Football Games, Veteran's Day, State of the School Address, Christmas Concerts, Disney World, Dollywood, and our spring fundraising concert, Arts on the Lawn.
