Theatre

Theatre class is offered to students as a fine arts option in middle grades 6 & 8, and to upper school students in grades 9 through 12.  Middle School Theatre students focus on the study of dramatic performances under the instruction of Amanda Ledbetter. Upper School Theatre instruction prepares students for dramatic performances for school & community events, led by Matthew Hendrix.

In addition to theatre courses, the Academy of the Arts program also offers a theatre option for students who have a passion and aptitude for theatre.  Under the direction of Matthew Hendrix, the Academy Theatre  Artists perform regularly at school and participate in GISA Literary & One-Act Competitions, often earning high ratings.
