NASOTA Theatre
NASOTA Theatre is the auditioned course of NASOTA Specialty Artist students who have a true passion and calling for theatre. Under the direction of Mr. Matthew Hendrix, the NASOTA Theatre students perform regularly during the school year and also participate in GHSA & GTC Theatre Competitions. NASOTA Theatre students were also involved in NCCS's May 2008 production of ANNIE, where they held many of the primary adult roles.
Rehearsals are held several hours each week during which time the theatre/musical theatre majors receive individualized instruction as well as coaching in the dynamics of working in a variety of theatrical genres. Training in the proper application of stage make-up, costuming, set construction, and many other related skills is also a part of the curriculum.
This fall, North Cobb Christian School Fine arts are proud to present the NCCS Players in their performance of Tom Stoppard's The Real Inspector Hound. Agatha Christie had a lot of fun at the expense of her now corny and often predictable plot twists. Now it's time to have a lot of fun at the expense of her. This hysterical farce of the "county-manor-murder-mystery" genre has everything you'd expect, from a weird old maid to a stranger who just showed up out of the blue from Canada the other day to complete the house party. Who dun it? I don't know... but my money's on William Herbert McCoy.
