Academy Visual Arts

Academy Visual Arts is the course for auditioned students who have a passion and calling in visual arts.  Academy Visual Arts, under the direction of Ms. Jessica Starnes display their work in a gallery every February at the Art Station - Big Shanty.  Students gain a strong foundation in visual arts and are able to build a sizable portfolio for college and careers in visual arts.  Senior Academy Visual Artists also produce a solo exhibit in the spring.  Academy Visual artists are required to take Drawing, Painting, Art History, and Senior Portfolio/Exhibit.  The Academy Visual Arts artists provided most of the backdrop and displays for ANNIE, a production of the musical involving all fine arts disciplines produced in May 2008.
