NORTH COBB CHRISTIAN ATHLETIC MISSION STATEMENT
North Cobb Christian Athletics fosters spiritual growth, promotes a positive self-image, and instills dedication and commitment to personal and team goals in the heart and mind of every athlete while developing skills and knowledge of the rules necessary for competition.
A TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE
North Cobb Christian School is the home of "Championship Athletics." As our varsity program enters it's 14th year of competition, we have claimed two NACA Division I National Championships (baseball and basketball) along with the title of State Champion eleven times in five different sports (baseball, basketball, soccer, swimming, and volleyball) and have had individual
State Champions in two sports (swimming and track). We have also claimed 28 Region Championships in seven different sports and our coaches have been named State "Coach of the Year" for their sport eight times. Our athletes have received scholarships from many schools around the nation including the University of Georgia, the U.S. Air Force Academy, Presbyterian College, Kennesaw State University, Georgia State University, Tennessee Tech University, Western Carolina University and Shorter College and Christian colleges which include Liberty University, Lipscomb University, Covenant College, and Atlanta Christian College just to name a few.
Our Eagles athletic program has grown to include 22 varsity teams, six junior varsity teams, and 27 middle school teams. Our varsity and junior varsity teams compete in the GHSA (Georgia High School Association) affording our athletes more competitive opportunities than ever before. Our middle school teams compete in the NAML (North Atlanta Metro
League) and the AMFL (Atlanta Metro Football League).
NCCS athletes understand that athletic ability is a tool that can be used to reach others for Christ. Our athletes accept the challenge of giving back to the community and have taken the opportunity to do just that through working with Habitat for Humanity, the Kennworth Horizon Field, the Atlanta Juvenile Diabetes Walk, hospital volunteer work, visiting nursing homes, and sponsoring a needy family at Christmas.
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Colossians 3:17
