Unrestricted donations to North Cobb Christian School may be given in the following ways:

Cash/Check



Cash gifts are the most common form of giving to NCCS.  Whether by cash or check, either gift is tax deductible up to the limits of the current tax code.  Any gift amount exceeding the limit may be carried over for up to 5 Years.  Checks should be made payable to North Cobb Christian School.

Online Giving by Credit Card or E-Check



Unrestricted donations may be made online.

Company Matching Gifts



Corporate Matching Gifts Programs offer you the opportunity to double or even triple the size of your gift to North Cobb Christian School. Many of the major corporations will match financial gifts donated by their employees to institutions such as North Cobb Christian School. Some companies will match your gift at some level even without the existence of a formal matching gift program.  Please ask your manager or your Human Resources department about matching your gift to North Cobb Christian School.

Securities



North Cobb Christian School can accept marketable securities such as those traded on a stock exchange. Security gifts are typically liquidated immediately by NCCS. For more information on donating securities, please contact Kristin Cook in the Business Office.

Real Estate


Donations of real estate allows NCCS to own and/or liquidate the asset while allowing the donor to receive a deduction for the appreciated property value and pay no capital gains tax.

Q. How much should we give?
A. It is hoped that parents, grandparents and friends will give as generously as possible to North Cobb Christian School. Every single gift, regardless of the amount, is valued.

Q. What are expectations for parent contributions?
A. We hope that every current parent will make it a priority to financially support NCCS above and beyond tuition. Since each student benefits from these contributions, we ask all parents to give to the best of their ability. Even if families receive financial aid, it is hoped that they will make a gift in order to join in the common mission of demonstrating community support for the school.

Q. How can I help North Cobb Christian School?
A. First, pray for North Cobb Christian School and its success. 
Second, please give generously. Your donation, along with the gifts of others, may 1) help to bridge the gap between tuition revenue and actual budgeted costs for the current school year as needed, and 2) support additional programs and campus expansion.


Q. As a donor, must I pay the full amount of a gift at once or can I make installment payments?
A. Gifts can be paid in installments over a period of time as desired. For example, a donor who makes a $10,000 pledge might choose to fulfill the commitment all at once, with two $5,000 payments, or ten $1,000 payments over the course of the designated pledge period.

Q. I'm not affiliated with NCCS, but your institution interests me for personal reasons. Can I make a gift?
A. Anyone can make a gift in any form and in any size to North Cobb Christian School. Friends provide NCCS with gifts periodically, and these donors make gifts with the knowledge that they have invested in an institution they care about and one that is impacting the world for Jesus Christ.
