The Talon Student Newspaper

The Talon is a student produced newspaper published quarterly that enables NCCS students to be informed regarding issues ranging from Eagle student life, athletic news, and themed devotions to entertainment and national news.  Our mission as student journalists is clear: "The Talon seeks to glorify God by informing the student body about their school, community and world through truthful reporting, while keeping the reader interested and entertained."  In addition to the staff articles, the editors of the The Talon would love to celebrate the talented writers in our student body at NCCS. Any Upper School student interested in having an article spotlighted in a future issue can submit the article to Amber Timms, faculty editor. Email Amber Timms to find out more information about the Talon Student Newspaper.

Yearbook

The staff of the NCCS Yearbook is made up of students who are interested in photography and journalism.  They become the "eyes" of our school as they collect and record memories that will last long beyond our school days. Students can take Yearbook as a class, but if you are interested in taking pictures and go to a lot of school events, contact the year book editor. Email Nathan Wright to find out more information about the Yearbook.
