We are excited to host Georgia Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle in our Upper School Chapel on Thursday, October 13. Lt. Gov. Cagle was invited to speak by NCCS sophomore Thomas Tucker, who has been privileged to work with Cagle through the Georgia Youth Assembly. Casey Cagle became Georgia’s 11th Lieutenant Governor and the first Republican to ever serve in that office in 2006.
Cagle’s leadership has been recognized beyond the state of Georgia. After being named one of the 100 most influential Georgians, he became one of four public servants in the country to be honored by the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools with the Champion for Charters Award. Notwithstanding his many accomplishments in private and public life, Cagle is most proud to be a husband, father and grandfather. He has been married to Nita, his high school sweetheart, for 29 years and they are the proud parents of three sons - Jared, Grant, and Carter - and grandparents of a beautiful granddaughter - Everett Grace. They live in Chestnut Mountain and are active members of Blackshear Place Baptist Church.
Please join us in welcoming Lt. Governor Cagle to our campus!

The Academy of Exercise and Sport Science is designed to introduce basic knowledge and prepare students for various career opportunities associated within this area, including sports management, athletic training, nursing, exercise science and kinesiology.
