- Director, Moving Forward Program
Amber received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University in Psychology with a minor in Educational Studies and went on to Georgia State University where she received a Master’s of Education in Communication Disorders. She is a Georgia State licensed speech pathologist as well as a certified provider of Interactive Metronome.
Amber has been married to her husband Stephen since 2012. Stephen is the owner and operator of Provino’s Italian Restaurant in Kennesaw. Amber enjoys reading, writing children's stories, crafting, hiking, camping, kayaking, and rock climbing. She loves working with children of all ages, listening and talking to people, and learning new things.
Amber says, “What excites me the most about serving as the Director of Moving Forward at NCCS is having the unique opportunity to help students with learning differences achieve academic success by tailoring support and intervention to meet students’ individual needs and learning styles. I believe that the Moving Forward program at NCCS is approaching the forefront of specialized instruction in the nation. I am very happy to be a part of this magnificent team and for the opportunity to support the continued success of the program!”
Amber has a passion for students and a love of research and training.
