- Upper School College Counselor
Karen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in education from Cedarville University and a Master of Science degree in education from Nova Southeastern University.
Karen and her husband, who also works at NCCS, have two children, one of whom attends NCCS and one who attends college.
In her spare time, Karen enjoys hanging out with family and friends, cooking, reading, watching sports-especially KU basketball, shopping for bargains.
Karen’ts favorite Scripture verse is I Thess. 5:16-18 - “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
Why I chose NCCS:
What a privilege it is to work with students and their families to prayerfully navigate through the college admission process, enabling students to grow into responsible decision makers and discover God’s unique plan for their life.
Proverbs 3:5-6 reads, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your path.”
