Why I love teaching:
I love teaching because I love the process of passing on what’s been given. We only know that which has been given to us, either by God or through the people He’s placed in our lives. I love the opportunity to pass along what God has given and to help solidify a foundation of truth and critical thought, so that we might be wise as we process all that the world will throw at us. God loves sharp minds and strong hearts, and teaching is a big part of His Spirit working that within us.
Why I chose NCCS:
I work at NCCS because the Lord brought me here - and my heart is so glad He did! In my journey as a teacher and minister, the Lord has graciously led me to the places He’s desired me to be. NCCS is no different. From the first day of walking through the halls, I knew God was doing a special work here, working amidst a new season -- a heavy season in light of the loss of John Michael from the NCCS family. As we processed the plans the Lord had for me and the plans He had for NCCS, they seemed to come together providentially. I was so blessed to be accepted as part of the family here at NCCS, and I’m so prayerfully and excitedly ready to see all the good God has in store. And know that, the best is still yet to come. God is always good, always working, and always near.
