Congratulations to our MDJ Scholar Athletes!
We are proud to announce that nine seniors have been named as 2018 Marietta Daily Journal Scholar Athletes. In order to qualify for this honor, athletes must be graduating seniors, have a GPA of 3.5 or better as of the first semester of the 2017-2018 school year, and must have competed in two or more GHSA-sanctioned varsity sports during their senior year. These student-athletes will be featured in the Sunday, May 27th edition of the Marietta Daily Journal. Congratulations to the following NCCS seniors for achieving this honor:

Congratulations to Katie Boyd and John Robert Nelson who are the recipients of this year’s Vincent J. Dooley Award for North Cobb Christian School. These awards, presented each year by Athletes for a Better World and the Georgia High School Association, recognize one male and one female senior athlete at each high school. Recipients are chosen for their distinguished individual character, outstanding teamwork, and citizenship. We are proud of you, Katie and John Robert!

Senior Mallory Dennard Receives Acworth Business
Association Scholarship


Congratulations to NCCS senior Mallory Dennard for being recognized by the Acworth Business Association as a difference maker in our community. Mallory has been particularly inspired by the opportunity she has had through the Spring Term program at NCCS to invest in the people of Haiti. Mallory is going to attend The University of Tennessee with plans to major in supply chain management. Congratulations Mallory, we are proud of you!

Senior Ellery Payne Selected as UGA “Georgette”ElleryPayneWeb
Congratulations to NCCS Ellery Payne who was selected to be part of next year’s “Georgettes” - the dance team at the University of Georgia.. This team performs on the field during the football games and travels with the team. Way to go, Ellery!

NCCS Junior Selected for Georgia Tech STEM Internship


Congratulations to NCCS junior Erika Johnson who has been granted a summer internship with STEM at Georgia Institute of Technology. She will have the opportunity to experience what's it's like to be an engineer or scientist working on innovative and real world projects, such as developing a prototype situational awareness platform for public safety and emergency response, while also participating in cutting edge robotics design and research. Erika has enjoyed being a member of the STEM Academy at NCCS since her freshman year and she plans to study engineering in college. We are proud of you, Erika!

Lower School Students Compete in National Mathfest Competition
Congratulations to our Lower School students for representing NCCS so well at the National Mathfest Competition held in Birmingham on Saturday, May 19. There were only 80 students from 11 different states who made it to the national competition at each grade level.
