GRANDPARENTS’ DAY ON FRIDAY - The students can’t wait to share in song with their grandparents in the special presentation on Friday, October 8th in the gym! Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. Grandparents have the opportunity to start with coffee and a continental breakfast in the gym, followed by our special program, which will begin at 8:30.

UPCOMING FIELD TRIP- We are so grateful that we can go on a field trip on October 12th! We will be looking at the wonders of God’s creation at the Tellus Museum’s planetarium and having a picnic lunch afterwards. This is a culmination to our study in science about the Solar System. Please check your email after Fall Break for a permission form.

Math: Differentiate between prime and composite numbers.
Bible: Understand the life of Christ better by becoming familiar with the land He lived in. Students will locate on map the prominent regions, towns and rivers of the land of Israel.
Spelling: Accurately spell and write words with a short o sound.
Language Arts: Begin writing a descriptive psalm of thanks and praise to God.
Reading: Understand the difference between the main idea and theme of a story.
Science: Continue the study of our solar system including astronomy and increase knowledge about technology used for viewing stars and planets.
