Learning Expedition to Dunwoody Nature Center

Pollution affects the air we breathe, the water in our rivers, and the land all around us. On April 10, 2023, students will go to the Dunwoody Nature Center to participate in hands-on activities and games learning about these pollutants and their effects on the environment. Most importantly the students will identify ways to reduce pollution and its harmful effects.  Permission forms for both students and/or chaperones were due by March 15th.  Permission Form

RESURRECTION EGGS-In third grade, each student will be making a set of Resurrection Eggs to share the story of Easter in school. They will be able to bring their Resurrection Eggs home to continue to share the story with others. We will supply the contents of the eggs, but we are asking that each student bring in an empty ( 1 dozen) egg carton and 12 plastic eggs to be filled. Plastic eggs will need to be able to fit inside the carton provided. Please send to school by Monday, March 27th. Thank you so much for your help! This will be a meaningful and memorable activity
