North Cobb Christian School, a private preschool in Kennesaw, Georgia, provides a Christ-centered, quality preschool education that creates lifelong learners. Our teachers provide a nurturing environment for K3 and K4 students to promote academic, spiritual, emotional, and social growth. Through positive reinforcement, we strive to instill the value and joy of learning within each child.

We believe all our students are a gift from God, created in His image and loved by Him. Our curriculum is taught from a biblical worldview, which allows children to see God’s Hand in all areas of study and lays a foundation for their future spiritual growth. By integrating God’s Word in all studies, your student gains a clearer understanding of who the Creator is and how He intervenes in the world around them.

Our private school curriculum is engaging and fosters a love of learning in your child. The three-year-old curriculum prepares students by setting a solid foundation for pre-reading, math, and social skills. The four-year-old curriculum focuses on phonics, hands-on math activities, handwriting, and Bible lessons. Social studies and science lessons are also incorporated into the subject matter. Like our Creator, we value creativity and exploration; therefore, we give your child time each day to play, be creative, and practice skills in a way that is developmentally appropriate.

The North Cobb Christian School preschool program is accredited through AdvancEd and voluntarily complies with licensing requirements for the state of Georgia. All preschool staff are trained annually in CPR, First Aid, and Early Education professional development.

Junior Kindergarten at NCCS provides a bridge between preschool and kindergarten for young 5-year-olds who may need a little more time to develop a strong beginning foundation. Our Junior Kindergarten program is designed to ensure that all students have the skills and confidence they need to achieve their full potential the following year in kindergarten.

One of the greatest privileges of being a student at NCCS is the opportunity to gather as a school for Chapel each week. Lower School students meet in the gym on Tuesday mornings for a time of worship, teaching, skits, videos, and other elements designed to help our students grow in Christ. Speakers include special guests, teachers and members of our school leadership. Parents and guests are always invited to join us for chapel.
