North Cobb Christian School provides an exemplary Christ-centered preschool education that creates lifelong learners who know their value in the eyes of their Creator. NCCS’s certified teachers welcome young scholars into a nurturing, joyful environment where they are inspired to advance scholastically, spiritually, and socially.

We believe that every child is a gift from God, created in His image and loved by Him. Our curriculum is taught from a biblical worldview, which allows children to see God’s hand in all areas of study, laying a foundation for their future spiritual growth. By integrating God’s Word in all studies, our young students gain a clear understanding of who the Creator is and how He intervenes in the world around them.

Our engaging private school curriculum will foster a love of learning in your child. The three-year-old curriculum establishes a solid foundation for pre-reading, number concepts, and social skills. The four-year-old curriculum focuses on phonics, handwriting, Bible lessons, and hands-on math activities. Reflecting the image of our Creator, the NCCS preschool program values creativity and exploration; therefore, we give children time each day to engage in meaningful play, creative projects, and the hands-on application and practice of skills.

At NCCS, you will hear often about the concept of the "three-legged stool." This metaphor illustrates how the three legs of home, church, and school are all necessary to provide a stable foundation of truth. Your child hearing truth in synchronized surround-sound is the best way to "train a child up in the way he should go." 

The North Cobb Christian School preschool program is accredited through AdvancEd, voluntarily exceeding licensing requirements for the state of Georgia. Our teachers are all certified and degreed, and all preschool staff are additionally certified annually in CPR and First Aid.

Junior Kindergarten at NCCS provides a bridge between preschool and kindergarten for young 5-year-olds who may need a little more time to develop a strong beginning foundation. Our Junior Kindergarten program is designed to ensure that all students have the skills and confidence they need to achieve their full potential the following year in kindergarten.

One of the greatest privileges of being a student at NCCS is the opportunity to gather as a school for chapel each week. Preschool students learn to relate to Jesus through worship, teaching, skits, videos, and engaging activities. Speakers include special guests, teachers, and members of our school leadership. Meaningful service projects also occur annually during seasonal chapels, inspiring students to be a light to the world around them. Parents are always welcome in chapel!
