Description | Safe America's Driver Education courses are licensed by the Georgia Department of Driver Services. Each student completes 30 hours of classroom instruction, including the State-required Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program (ADAP), plus 6 hours of private behind-the-wheel training with a licensed instructor.
Driving sessions are scheduled in three, 2-hour increments after classroom training is complete and must be finished within 6 months.
This 30/6 program fulfills Georgia’s full driver education requirements. Graduates under age 25 may qualify for a 10% insurance discount, and parents of graduates are eligible for a $150 Georgia Income Tax Credit.
