STEP 3 | Shadow Day

Prospective 3rd - 12th grade students can attend NCCS alongside a current student, experiencing a typical day-in-the-life of an NCCS Eagle. Email admissions to schedule!

Step 4 | Apply Online

Create an account to complete the online application. A nonrefundable $100 application fee is required per student. Once submitted, you can log in anytime to track your admissions status.

Once your online application is submitted, our Admissions team will coordinate academic testing for your child, followed by a family interview—an opportunity for you to connect personally with your child’s principal. We can’t wait to meet you and begin this journey together!

Criteria

Diversity + Inclusion

NCCS admits students of any race, color or national origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students in the school, including its administrative policies, financial aid, fine arts, athletics, and other school administered programs.

NCCS reserves the right to refuse admission to any applicant or to discontinue the enrollment of a student if the conduct within the home or the conduct of the student is in opposition to the biblical lifestyle upheld by the school, as evidenced by the school’s Statement of Faith. This includes sexual immorality or inability to support the moral principles of the school.

Statement of Faith

Parents and older students must sign that they agree with the school’s Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Tenets, and that they will support the school's biblical perspectives in all areas of life. Students and parents must also read and agree to all policies and procedures as set forth in the Parent Student Handbook annually, including the Student Behavior Standards.

Gathering Documents
If your child is currently enrolled in another school system, the majority of the documentation required below will be automatically secured by the NCCS Admissions team once you complete your online application. Parents may also submit documents directly. Homeschool parents and parents of new preschool or kindergarten students will likely need to secure documents directly. We will gladly walk you through any questions you have, so please don’t hesitate to ask!

Student Recommendations

Student recommendations are an important part of the online application process. When applying, you’ll be prompted to enter the email addresses of your references. Once submitted, the school will automatically send recommendation requests directly to those individuals.

Required references:

Pastoral / Community Reference: All applicants
Teacher Recommendation: Grades 1–12 (Math and Language Arts teachers for grades 5–12)
Guidance Counselor / Request for Records: Grades 1–12

Need-Based Financial Aid
To help make NCCS accessible, we offer need-based financial aid to families who can contribute substantially toward tuition but may not be able to afford the full cost.

Available for students K5 through 12th grade.
Administered confidentially through a third-party organization.
Award amounts are based on enrollment, budget, and other factors.
As a GHSA member, NCCS does not offer scholarships.

Is North Cobb Christian School equipped to handle students with learning differences?

At NCCS, student needs are carefully assessed on an individual basis during the admissions process, always with the goal of achieving the best possible outcome for each child.

We offer a range of programs* to support and challenge students at every level, including:

Do NCCS students wear uniforms?

At NCCS, uniforms and appearance standards vary by division.

Preschool K3 and K4 students are not required to wear uniforms. Many of our youngest Eagle love to show their spirit by wearing NCCS spirit wear from The Perch School Store (optional).
Lower School students in Junior Kindergarten - 4th grade, as well as Middle School students in 5th through 8th grade wear uniforms.
Upper School students in 9th - 12th grades follow a standard of appearance that allows them to make individual decisions about their appearance while reflecting the values and high standards of our school family.

What if I go to a large church and the pastor doesn’t know my child well enough to complete the pastoral/community recommendation form?

Is after school care available?

Flipside, the NCCS after-school program, is available for students in K3 through 4th grade and runs until 6:30 p.m. daily. Billing is handled through FACTS.

Throughout the year, students can also participate in Sidekicks—special enrichment activities offered through Flipside that include fun, hands-on experiences in arts, STEM, sports, and more.

For Middle School students (5th–8th grade) who remain on campus but are not involved in after-school activities or athletics, supervised care is available from 3:45–5:00 p.m. at no additional charge.

Is lunch included in tuition?

Yes! NCCS partners with Flik Independent School Dining to offer an all-inclusive dining experience for students in K3 through 12th grade, at no extra charge to our families.

QUALITY + CUSTOMIZATION | Rather than being limited to one entree choice, students can customize meals from any station through a student-centric dining experience.

NUTRITION | After an extensive search, NCCS selected Flik due to the company’s stellar reputation at providing scratch-based, nutrition-focused menus for schools across the nation. Professional advantages include a Flik dietitian and chef collaborating on menu design, along with a commitment to quality food sourcing, sustainability, allergy-awareness, and healthy food choices. Expect an exemplary dining program at NCCS!
