The Performing Arts at NCCS are comprised of our instrumental, vocal, and theatrical programs. Students participate in these programs through auditioned ensembles, classroom instruction, and via our private lesson program.

Performing arts bolster self-confidence in students and help them understand how and why they are made. Further, students come to realize that their individual gifts fit within a larger context of their ensembles and that all of these individual gifts are coordinated for the success of the ensemble. Each member of the group is responsible for each other member.

“I credit the arts at NCCS with learning to feel comfortable on a stage, speaking and performing in front of others. I gained confidence that I still draw on every day.” – NCCS Alumni
