EAGLES FOOTBALL TRADITION

COLLEGE SIGNINGS

Eagle athletes soar into college athletics.

NCCS has a strong tradition of student-athletes committing to play college athletics. Nothing makes us prouder than watching our Eagles soar beyond the nest.

Recent graduating classes have boasted 15- to 20-percent of graduates signing to play collegiate athletics at prestigious programs, including football at Georgia Tech, Liberty University, Kennesaw State University, Berry College, Samford University, and more.

Additional NCCS athletic signings include University of Georgia baseball and cheerleading, United States Coast Guard Academy swimming, Liberty University basketball and lacrosse, and USC track and field -- to name just a few.

Meet all of our signees at the link, below.

Named in honor of NCCS alumnus PFC Jacob Dennis, a true American hero.

Jacob Dennis Field was named in honor of PFC Jacob Anthony Dennis (class of 2005), who gave his life serving our country on July 3, 2010, in Afghanistan.

Jacob is a true hero, and his legacy lives on through the faithful service of his parents Tony and Renee Dennis, and his siblings Sam and Molly (class of 2017).

NCCS ATHLETICS CORE VALUES

LOVE

For God, Neighbors, Self

He answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’Luke 10:27

LOVE | Love God, love neighbors, love self.

INTEGRITY

Be the same person on and off the field, court, or track.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2a

INTEGRITY | Be the same person on and off the field, court, or track.

RESPECT

SHOW THE SAME RESPECT YOU WANT TO RECEIVE.

Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king.1 Peter 2:17

RESPECT | Show the same respect you want to receive.

RESPONSIBILITY

GO THE EXTRA MILE TO WIN THE PRIZE.

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.1 Corinthians 9:24–27

RESPONSIBILITY | Go the extra mile to win the prize.

SERVICE

BE FISHERS OF MEN IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES.

If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it. Mark 8:34

SERVICE | Be fishers of men in all circumstances.
