The Delashmit Firm Alumni Challenge
A letter from Hunter Delashmit (class of 2013)
Dear NCCS Alumni,
My personal injury law firm, The Delashmit Firm, is proud to partner with NCCS once again in putting on "The Delashmit Firm Alumni Challenge" this year.
The purpose of this challenge is to encourage my fellow alumni to give back. My firm will match all new or increased giving made by any alumnus up to a maximum contribution match of $2,500 this year. Of course, the goal is to FAR exceed the match! Last year we were able to exceed the match and, Lord willing, the same will be done this time as well!
If you give before this June, The Delashmit Firm will match your gift, doubling your impact! You can either Venmo @NCChristian or give ONLINE HERE to make your gift.
When we give back, we are worshipping the Lord in the way that we steward the resources that He has blessed us with and acting as His instruments to help the faculty and staff continue to pour into the next generation. I ask that you prayerfully consider what the Lord is leading you to give to this fund. I hope and pray that everyone has a great 2025!
Sincerely,
Hunter Delashmit '13

Alumni // Back Home
We are incredibly honored to have 19 of our very own alumni now serving full-time at NCCS. Returning as leaders, educators, coaches, and mentors - they bring with them a unique sense of purpose, rooted in gratitude, shared values, and a desire to see students grow in faith and wisdom just as they did.

Alumni Help Build New Upper School Building
NCCS alumni Tara Dorsey (class of 2000) and Cheston McAllister (class of 2001) worked together on the capital campaign and construction of the Upper School Building, which opened in January 2020, as well as on the Phase 2 expansion in 2024. Fellow alums Kendall Johnson (class of 2016) and Conner Jones (class of 2005) were a key part of these campus improvements, as well.
Alumni who return to become a continued part of the legacy of NCCS are a testimony to the impact of the school in the lives of our graduates.

“I love the relationships I have created at NCCS. I found some of the best friends of my life and found the best spiritual leaders here. The teachers and staff at NCCS have always taken every effort to ensure that our spiritual education is just as important as our academic success.” NCCS Alumni
The Jim Knight Classic: Honoring a Legacy
The Jim Knight Classic is an annual tradition at NCCS — a basketball game and alumni reception that honors Coach Jim Knight and the lasting legacy he left on our community.
Coach Knight and his family joined NCCS in 1988, serving in many roles with dedication and heart. In 1995, he and a few other dads volunteered to coach a middle school boys basketball team — a team that would help lay the foundation for the NCCS athletic program. As the school grew, so did Coach Knight’s impact. He later became the school’s first full-time athletic director and also served as interim Head of School, all while continuing to coach.
More than anything, Coach Knight was known for putting people first. He loved God, his family — including the NCCS family — and the game of basketball. He led with humility, passion, and a servant’s heart until his passing in 2012.
The Jim Knight Classic celebrates the values he lived by: servant leadership, selflessness, and a commitment to excellence.

North Cobb Christian has been a consistent and compassionate influence on my life. As a student at NCCS, I was surrounded by a community that taught me who Jesus is and what the Bible says is true.
I never knew how important that foundation of truth was until I went to college. Classes like Apologetics and Ethics taught me how to defend my faith in a community where biblical truth was clouded by worldly influences. Over my years here, the Lord has written the truth of scripture on my heart.GRACIE JOHNSON, NCCS Class of 2018
