What a well-deserved honor! NCCS Lower School Counselor Carol Ribeiro was named the Cobb County Elementary School Counselor of the Year! This honor speaks to the immense impact Carol makes not only daily at NCCS by pouring her heart and soul into our students— but also to her wider work in the school counseling community, where she serves as a leader and volunteer in support of the spiritual, emotional, and mental wellbeing of all children. 

NCCS’s website, ncchristian.org, has received international attention as a 2025 silver Davey Awards winner for excellence in website creativity and digital impact. NCChristian.org was selected from among thousands of sites worldwide, and it is an immense honor for our marketing team to be recognized! Our site was submitted for this honor by Finalsite — which hosts over 7,000 sites globally for public and private educational institutions. We are so grateful!

We are excited to announce that Carter Robison will join NCCS as Middle School Director of Student Life for the 2026-27 school year. Carter brings a deep passion for student relationships, Christian discipleship, and the formative impact of the middle school years, along with a diverse background in education, coaching, and organizational leadership.

Over 500 upper school students, faculty and staff ended 2025 being commissioned to go all over the world as part of Spring Term. January 3 - January 9, 2026, teams traveled to Greece, Italy, Poland, Peru, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and 15 other locations — from our own backyard to distant hemispheres … all to serve and to seek and to love like Jesus

Fifth-grader Remington Oakes is already making big moves on the football field! Remington recently had the opportunity to compete with FBUNC, an elite national football organization that requires a coach’s invitation just to try out. After earning his spot through two competitive rounds of tryouts, Remington joined some of the best young athletes from across the country in the FBU National Championship.

This year, our faculty—from K3 through 12th grade—has been deeply engaged in weekly professional learning centered on High-Impact Teaching Strategies, a set of research-based approaches proven to strengthen academic achievement, engagement, and long-term retention.

Following a unanimous decision by school leadership, NCCS is pleased to announce the appointment of PJ Hughes as the new Varsity Head Football Coach.
