Student Behavior Standards at NCCS

Every Middle and Upper School student at NCCS signs a Handbook Acknowledgement and Behavior Agreement annually upon enrollment or reenrollment. 

Middle and Upper School Activity Behavior Agreement 

We pray each student knows God and is striving to live a life worthy of His calling. Paul gives solid guidelines in Ephesians 5: 1-2 on how to live: "Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God."

1. I will not purposefully damage or destroy property belonging to other students or leaders.

2. I will not purposefully damage or destroy equipment, materials, or facilities.

3. I will not be disrespectful or disobedient to adult leaders.

4. I will not publicly display affection (PDA). 

5. I will not maliciously harass, tease or criticize anyone.

6. I recognize that the dress for school sponsored activities might be more casual than regular dress code, and I will not abuse that privilege by wearing any inappropriate clothing or accessories.

7. I will not use profanity.

8. I will not leave the property.

9. I will not physically hurt or harass someone.

10. I will not use or possess tobacco, alcohol, or any other type of illegal drug. This includes any vaping substances or supplies.

11. I will not dishonor separate arrangements for males and females. During overnight trips, I recognize that males are never to be in females' rooms and females never in males' rooms, and I will abide by this rule.

12. I will not disobey any standards established by our student handbook.

BEHAVIOR AGREEMENT
Parents, please read these guidelines above with your children. Each student and his/her parents must agree to these guidelines to attend North Cobb Christian School and to participate in school-sponsored activities. If the rules are not followed, the parent of the student will be contacted. If there is a serious violation, the parent will be required to pick up their student from the activity immediately, so as to maintain the integrity of the activity for other participants. Violations may also result in further disciplinary measures.
