Join us for the 3rd Annual Bub's Run in honor of Kelson Loveland to be held at North Cobb Christian School on Saturday, May 6 at 7:30 a.m. We’re thankful for the support of so many of our NCCS staff, students and families as we honor and celebrate Kelson's life and support the Loveland family (big sister Emma Sue, class of 2026). We would love for you to sign up this year to run, walk or trot!
LOVELAND FAMILY
The Loveland family has been part of NCCS since 2013, when Emma Sue came as a kindergartener. Her brother Kelson earned his wings on May 5, 2020, at the age of 8, following a lifetime of medical complications and challenges. This year’s run will benefit Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where Kelson was cared for so lovingly throughout the last two years of his life.
ABOUT BUB'S RUN
Bub's Run includes a 5K, 1-mile Fun Run/Walk, and Tot Trot (4 and under)! This event is open to athletes of all abilities, offering “Bub’s Buddies” to those who need a bit of extra help on the course. Buddies may push a stroller or wheelchair, guide someone with a visual impairment, offer support to a friend with a cognitive disability, and more. STUDENTS: You can sign up to volunteer as a buddy!
The beautiful race course winds through campus, up Old 41, around the campus of NorthStar Church, and finishes back on Jacob Dennis Field. Registration will remain open through race morning, but shirts can only be guaranteed to those who register by Friday, 4/14! Loveland family, WE LOVE YOU and can’t wait for May 6!
