Student Life Programs

Chapel

At NCCS, weekly chapel is a cornerstone of campus life, bringing students from K3 through 12th grade together to worship, learn, and grow in faith. Chapel creates space for our school family to pause from the routine, focus on God’s Word, and experience authentic fellowship. Rooted in Acts 2:42 — “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” — chapel helps center our community on Christ and our shared mission.

Fall Retreat

At NCCS, all students in 7th through 12th grade kick off the school year with Fall Retreat—a powerful time of connection, worship, and spiritual growth. This retreat sets the tone for the semester, building lasting friendships and grounding our school community in Christ (Hebrews 10:24-25). Students in 5th and 6th grades also enjoy a special local experience filled with team-building, games, and worship, fostering unity and faith as they grow together.

Community Service at NCCS

Community service is a core value at North Cobb Christian School, reflecting the servant-hearted example of Jesus in Mark 10:45: “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.” At NCCS, students are encouraged to live out their faith by serving others—both locally and globally—gaining meaningful opportunities to make a lasting impact for Christ.

Spring Term

Upper School students at NCCS begin the spring semester with Spring Term—a transformative week centered on discipleship, service, and expanding students’ biblical worldview. Spring Term gives students the opportunity to live out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19) as they serve both locally and globally. From Haiti to Hawaii, Belize to The Bahamas, Kenya to Costa Rica, and beyond, these trips challenge students to grow spiritually while making a tangible impact around the world. Students in 7th and 8th grades also participate in regional Spring Term adventures, exploring historic cities like Washington, D.C., Savannah, and Charleston.

Special Student Life Events

Circle of Prayer, Christmas Chapel, Spiritual Emphasis Week, Spring Term Commissioning — these special annual traditions provide opportunities where students are encouraged to deepen their faith and grow in community.

“At NCCS, i've had the opportunity to be a missionary, make a difference in my own community, and sing on the worship team. we get to walk out our faith in so many ways.” NCCS Student
