Chapel + Small Groups

Upper School students leading worship during weekly chapel.

Chapels and Small Groups are a defining element of Student Life at NCCS. This is where spiritual growth happens – together.

One of the greatest privileges of being a student at NCCS is the opportunity to gather as a school for chapel each week. From our youngest K3 students to our seniors, everyone participates in worship and authentic instruction designed to help them grow in Christ. Speakers include our head of school and principals, our Student Life director, faculty and staff members, alumni, fellow students, and special community guests. Family and friends are always welcome to attend.

SMALL GROUPS

Upper school advisory group meeting with their leader.

NCCS small groups are same-gender “family groups” of Middle and Upper School students who meet monthly with a faculty mentor. Groups are guided through discussions on faith, life, and everything in between.

Small groups spend time studying God's word, discussing all that God is doing in their lives and learning more about the person of Jesus – together.
