After arriving at Woodlands Camp in Cleveland, Georgia, our 7th and 8th grade students disembarked from four coach busses ... and the fun immediately began!

FIRST HOUSE COMPETITION

We launched into an opening “house” obstacle course competition. Even though Elyon won the obstacle course, Shaddai, Nissi, and Shalom brought on major house spirit!

OUTDOOR FUN

After lunch in The Commons, students enjoyed a variety of free time activities including paddle boarding, zip lining, fishing, basketball, air hockey, ping pong, waterslides, and the oh so popular blob. (We think Asher Bartlett could very well be the Blob King with the height his blobs attain!)

DINNER

After working up a massive appetite, students enjoyed a hearty pasta dinner and delicious tiramisu for dessert.

EVENING WORSHIP

With full bellies and open hearts, we headed over to the chapel for worship. Pastor Roberts brought the word! He talked about how we have times in our life that God calls us to draw a line in the sand and choose whose house we will serve (Joshua 24:15).

We ended our day with meeting in our cabin small groups, and then participated in one last house competition paired with ice cream before falling into bed. We can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
