Day One

Our day kicked off with a devotion led by Lindsey Meier and Aaleyah Williams. After that, our team organized a sports camp for students in the Acworth community at the Acworth Community Center—and we had 70 campers!

Our high school students ran each sports station while others rotated campers between stations. It was a super active, fun-filled day, and those 70 lower school campers definitely kept us on our toes. Every student on our team loved every minute of it!

We wrapped up the day by sharing the gospel with each camper and giving them a bracelet as a reminder of what our Savior has done for us. We can’t wait to continue serving tomorrow at Seven Bridges!

Day Two

What a great day to serve! We spent the entire day with Seven Bridges in downtown Atlanta. Our students packed 100 bags of food and nearly the same number of hygiene kits. After packing, we loaded the bus following a meaningful time of prayer with the Seven Bridges staff, asking for protection and for opportunities to pray and speak encouragement over those we would be serving.

We traveled to four different areas to distribute food and pray with individuals receiving the items. Groups of students could be seen throughout the area passing out food, praying with people like Rose, and offering words of hope and kindness. Our students also walked through tent areas, encouraging people and handing out food, socks, hats, and warm blankets.

It was a beautiful sight to watch our students giving so generously, praying faithfully, and loving others so well.
