With temps starting at 50 degrees we headed out to the Silver Comet trail Florence Road head in Powder Springs. After a quick bike and helmet orientation (it’s been a while for some) we got on our bikes and headed towards Paulding County. Whoever said “it’s like riding a bike” was right but it took some of us a while to get the hang of it!

We battled wind and cloudy weather but it made for a quiet trail. We enjoyed each other’s company as we rode through Powder Springs, Hiram, and Dallas. We biked through Bamboo walls and by fields. It was nice to see God’s hand at work in the communities around us.

After 12 miles we had enough and it was time for pizza! The best time to eat the carbs is after a workout after all! After some carb-reloading, we went back to campus and made cards for our prayer partners and prepped for the days ahead.
